To make your own bath bombs you will only need a few ingredients:

  • 1/2 cupBath crystals (choose your favourite scent)
  • 1 cup Baking soda (because who doesn’t love fizzing water!)
  • 1/2 cupCitric acid
  • 1/2 cup Corn starch
  • 2 TSP. Essential oil (to give the bath bomb the scent you prefer)
  • 3/4 TSP. Water
  • 2 1/2 TSP. Oil

Once you have all of these ingredients you can start mixing together, as if you were making some pastries.

Start mixing the dry ingredients in the quantities we gave you before and, after getting an homogeneous mixture, you put the wet ingredients in a different bowl and mix them.

If you want to get a specific colour, add some food dye to the wet ingredients but keep in your mind that, the more colour you put, the bolder it will be, so don’t exhaggerate or the bath bomb will end up staining your skin.

Gradually pour the wet mixture in the dry ingredients’ bowl and keep mixing until the powder looks compact and in the colour you wanted to get.
